AMY TRUJILLO is the Director and Head Instructor of Legacy. Amy has been involved in the sport of baton twirling for over 30 years. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad competing and teaching. Amy has won several awards as both an athlete and instructor including WTA Miss College Majorette of America and other WTA, TU, NBTA and USTA State, Regional, and National Titles. She represented the United States at the World Championships in Genoa, Italy in 1996. Professionally, Amy earned the award of Coach of the Year presented by the Florida Sport Development Commission, she is a Certified Level III Judge, Certified Level II Coach, and the current President for the Florida Chapter of the United States Twirling Association and Treasurer for the Southeast Region. Amy brings a lot of experience and expertise to the Jacksonville area. She will be teaching both Recreational and Competition classes.

 

KATHLEEN WORLEY, Recreation Assistant has been involved in the sport of baton twirling for over 20 years as a soloist, team twirler and now coach. She originally twirled in Ohio and loves teaching all aspects of twirling including group and soloist work.  She's great with the younger crowd. She's currently teaching our Grace Lutheran Program.

 

CASSANDRA GAYLOR SMALLEY, Recreation Assistant has been involved in the sport of baton twirling for over 10 years. She is a recent graduate of the University of Florida where she was leadership of the majorette line. Cassandra has won many titles including DMA Queen, National, Regional and State awards in both solos and teams. She and sister Cathy are the 2007 USTA National Senior Solo Pairs Grand Champions.  She is a USTA Level I Coach. She will be teaching Recreation and assisting with Pre-Team.

 

NICHOLE SCHROEDER, Recreation Assistant has been involved in the sport of baton twirling for 15 years. She's a full time college student, where she twirled on the line at FSU. She was also the Feature Twirler at Paxon SAS, Jacksonville for 4 years. Nichole has earned many titles in both solos and teams including 1st runner up Miss Majorette of Florida, Florida State 1, 2, 3 baton Grand Champion, silver medalist in age at 2005 Nationals for 2 baton and other State, Regional and National awards. She recently earned her USTA Judges Level 2 status and is already a USTA Level I Certified Coach. Nichole will be teaching Recreation and assisting with both Pre-Team and Tot Team.
